As I reflect on my 25 years as a professional software engineer working in Belfast and now engineering manager, I have been thinking about what my future career. Maybe, more importantly I reflect on the past, the things I have learnt, the things I apply, and how I can both capture that here and also maybe help someone pick up something that they think is useful and will apply.
During my career I have often lead technical projects, mentored more junior engineers, often doing this across geographies and continents. I am always open for questions and discussions on code, technical problems, offering solutions internally or to customers. I always enjoy these conversations. Can send me some feedback below.
